What's your favorite recipe for snow ice cream?

My mom always made one with vanilla and heavy whipping cream.

I've got tons of snow outside just waiting to be made into ice cream. What's your favorite recipe for snow ice cream?
Snow Ice Cream Recipe

Ingredients:

2 eggs

1/2 cup sugar

1 cup milk or light cream

2 teaspoons vanilla

Pinch of salt

Place the above ingredients in a large bowl. Mix with an egg beater and this will make an uncooked custard. Now, scoop up a pan of new fallen snow and mix the snow into the custard. You need to eat this right away!

This will make about 1 quart of snow ice cream!

**Please note: This is an old recipe and snow was a lot cleaner back in the 50's. Now, snow may be tainted with all sorts of things, even as it falls

from the sky. Also, some people recommend not to use uncooked eggs. If you feel funny about using uncooked eggs, use your favorite cooked custard recipe, but don't wait till the custard is set. Do not make eating this a regular habit. But, a treat once or twice a year will not hurt you! Yummy! What's your favorite recipe for snow ice cream?
Get a big pan, (spaghetti pot works great) fill it with clean snow, add evaporated milk, sugar, and flavoring if you like.

This was the greatest treat we had as kids. When dad would suggest it..mom would complain the whole time that it wasn't clean. All of the kids thought it was soo cool!!
There is too much pollution in the world today, don't eat that!
Wow! I sure hope you live in a clean area! I'd never imagine doing that where I am..... And I've never heard of it before anyway. Wouldn't it come out all watery?

Hmmmm. have fun, and have some for me, I love ice cream.
