how can i make it thick enough?Is cream of chicken in a can good for a pasta sauce?
If you use the good old campbells cream of chicken or cream of mushroom for your sauce it is thick enough...straight from the canIs cream of chicken in a can good for a pasta sauce?
Actually, the consistency would already be too thick, plus the soup is concentrated which means the flavor might be a bit strong. Here's what I'd do... Put the soup in a medium sauce pan. Add a couple of tablespoons of milk or sour cream. Gently whisk till smooth. If it is still too thick, add a bit more milk or sour cream. Heat carefully, so you don't scorch it.





You may also want to add seasonings to suit your taste.
