How can i makec cream of chicken soap thicker?

i want to make it into a souse for dinner tonight to pour into of some chicken. any suggestions? How can i makec cream of chicken soap thicker?
Add a can of evaported milk %26amp; a good sprinkle of flour, stiring constantly til desired thickness......Add a good pat of butter the last few minutes for a much richer flavor......How can i makec cream of chicken soap thicker?
add butter and cream or sour cream, only about half of the amount of soup concentrate you have (1 can of soup- half can cream)

then just simmer to desired consistency and pour over your chicken. if you are going to pour it over the chicken before you bake it or braise it then leave the sauce a little thin as it will cook down during the final cooking of the dish.
I've made several different cream soups, and they all seem to call for thickening in one of the following 3 ways:

1. Add Sour Cream...not too much; just really enough to thicken it a little without making it bitter.

2. Use heavy whipping cream

3. Sautee a little flour and butter in a frying pan, and then add it to the soup.

(That way is my personal favorite - but then again, I'm like Paula Deen - Love the butter!)

have a good day

The tastiest way is potatoes. Either add some instant mashed potato flakes until it reaches the desired consistency or take a potato and bake it in the microwave, peel it and use some of the broth and the potato in a deep bowl with an immersion blender until smooth and then add it back to the rest of the soup.
you could make a roux (flour and butter cooked together, consistency like creamy peanut butter), use cornstarch added to cold water, or instant potatoes. i prefer the cornstarch method myself. be careful though, it ';tightens'; really quick this way.
Add a few instant potato flakes when you are heating the soup. It won't taste any different and will be thicker when the flakes have cooked a little.
Flour or cream maybe but the best way to make any soup thicker would be to heat it with cornstarch + water and added to the soup (it needs heat to thicken) or arrowroot powder.
Cornstarch mixed with cold water till you get a thick paste and add to soup a little at a time and keep stirring till it thickens.
to thicken a cream mixture add flour.

to thin a mixture add water.

Source Emerill.
add some instant potatoes

carefull cause you can over do it
add milk or cream and simmer for 30 minutes so the sauce (or souse) thickens
Add some Borax, or maybe some tapioca.
