Any body ever make ice cream out of snow while out camping?Camping in the snow...did you ever make snow ice cream?
how exactly would you make ice cream out of snow?





you do realize that ice cream isn't made out of ice, right?





i suppose you could use snow to freeze the cream and milk... but it wouldn't work as well as ice and rock salt.





you COULD make a sort of sorbet out of snow, i guess... well actually, no, sorbet is frozen from liquid also. i guess all you could really do with snow is make a snow-cone.Camping in the snow...did you ever make snow ice cream?
I have never made snow ice cream while camping but I do know that it is not a great Idea. Snow can contain impurities that can make some people sick and that is compounded if you are out on a camping trip as you can imagine. Good luck and be safe!
