Can you make chicken and dumplings with cream of chicken ?

Yes, you could just add a can of mixed vegetables and some chicken broth to the cream of chicken. Make some Bisquick dumplings and drop on top of boiling soup cover for 10 minutes till cooked through.





Dumplings:


2 cups Bisquick


2/3 cup milk


1/4 cup parmesan cheese


1 Tablespoon Parsley


1 teaspoon Garlic powder

why would you want to? the water should already be flavored once you have sauted the onion and celery, garlic and seasonings, and then boiled the chicken. Once you put the dumplings in your soup will thicken up, and once you place your chicken back in (if you want it creamy) add 1 cup of milk. Let simmer for 10 minutes or so.
